As the drow manager tried reasoning with the visibly irritated J1LLY-type clone, the ozcura Tikra hurried to tend to her colleagues wounds with an ice bag:

"Ash, you dummy - use the measuring tape instead of your hands to measure the client! Why do I have to repeat this to you every single week? You're like a kid sometimes, Ash... Come on, don't cry now - you don't look handsome when you cry..."

Ash was biting down on his lip, as the client slammed the door behind her:

"M-mumumuhuu... Hurts."

"I know, Ashie. Come on, I'll put the bag on your elbow now; you're lucky she didn't go hard on you."

"Mu-muh?"

"She was a military-grade clone - I've heard some scary stories about them. They say those types can poison you with gasses, and stuff... Please, Ashie, just use the measuring tape next time, okay?"

"Huuh... Yes, thickie..."

"Sorry, Tikra - ahahaauuu..."

The drow manager took a deeper breath, then shook her head:

"Stop babying him, Tikra! This is the 4th client this week Ash gets in trouble with! He has to learn responsibility and common manners, or his shiny butt will fly straight out of the door! My patience is running thin, and I mean it."

"Yes Evelynn, ma'am."

As the manager left, Tikra slipped a piece of her leftover candy bar into Ash's mouth:

"Here - for being a good patient. Don't lift heavy things, and the arm will stop aching in two days, or so. Also, don't go measuring things with your hands again, okay?"

"M-hu."

"Promise?"

"Yeah."

"Pinky promise?"

Ash smiled a pained smile:
