Tried using it for a day. My disappointment was immeasurable, and my day was ruined. Especially disappointed about not finding any new notifications, unless I specifically clicked on the section (which, in turn, is hidden in a sub-section of a page somewhere not immediately noticeable). Probably more errors and inconveniences with the 'upgrade' are to be found, as just dipping my toes in it revealed such an important flaw. Switched over to the old site for the time being, just to calm my brain and eyes from the utter crapshow that is Eclipse.Woah, there's even a tag #eclipseisbad ? That fact alone should speak volumes, my dear dA admins everywhere.

The answer is money, of course. The guys owning dA (Wix) want to make a profit, and they don't care about people's artistic expression in the slightest. However, they also want it to be done fast and cheap, but these processes are just like driving a car: the faster you go, the less control over the direction you will have.

Yep, that seems to be out of order in Eclipse. I posted this journal while using the old site. No wonder nobody likes Eclipse.

I know. Tried using Eclipse for a day, and I can't say I particularly enjoyed the experience.
