IF ITS TOO BRIGHT TELL ME AND ILL SOMEHOW LOWER THE BRIGHTNESSOkay now before anyone says anything about the sky, I tried for 4 1/2 hours to make something like that without using pictures and I failed horribly so I just decided to use photos of planets and stuff for it so it wasn't naked. I TRIED OKAY.
A commission for of her character Starfighter running side view breathing fire in a field surrounded by trees. You said like a "fantasy world" so that's why it has all those pretty colors. I like it a lot and sorry it took so long. I really liked the way you drew her wings in the reference sheet so I stuck with those instead of going traditional wings, if that's alright.
Tips are always appreciated!

Thanks so much! I tried to draw like a galaxy sky but it was hard(for me) so i resulted in using photos instead. Making art is fun <3

Not to me, the only time to use neon colors is for shading, and btw maybe use some pure white on top of the cell shaded layer of the wolf to give it a glow affect from the star above it. And maybe use some darker + brighter colors next to each other to bring the contrast out and give shape to your characters. The only colors that semi bother me is the grass. green and purple don't really go hand to hand and the purple shading seems a little too bright.
Personally I shade the outline layer instead of shading around it, to me imo this shading type is more of a realistic effect and doesn't stick out has much.
Really good job overall. It turned out really nice!

Ah okay. Alright ^^ It was actually yellow but I had on lumosity(I cheat sometimes). Okay ^^ Yeah it would look better if I did that. Yeeeah I tied to make it look like "fantasy: but thanks for the tip.
Yeeah looking at it now it is bright o.o I was trying to use like opposite colors. Like purple/yellow, red/blue.

What I meant by shading the outlining layer was the very noticeable black lines, I tend to shade the layer with a bright color to blend it.
