Looking great I love how you got the emotion in his eye.
I was wondering if you may sell this drawing when you where done and how much it would cost if you did. After losing Shotgun I would love to have something like this to remember him by.

sure.....but I charge a lot. I hadn't really thought about selling it since it's your photo, that wouldn't be right but for you....probably.I haven't even finished it and when I pulled up your post I was JUST thnkning that it would be nice to finish it. O BTW the students did a really great job on theirs and only two actually finished it by the end of the class...I'll have to find their pictures with the drawing. They hate me now for making them draw all that horse hair! email me at my real email

funny I was thinking the opposite the other day and how I wasn't liking the direction my art was going. I think I try to be too realistic and just really want to loosen up and draw from life and stuff. Thanks

do you find it difficult to combine the graphite and the charcoal?
do you feel like it helps if you use a certain texture paper?

no it's not difficult. I prefer carbon myself but you have to be careful with it. Thanks.
