Hexagonal finally foaled this morning, and of course it was at an inconveniantly early hour. She delivered a healthy chestnut colt with a surprising amount of chrome, which probably came from the sire. Mom looks pleased with herself, but won't actually let anyone close enough to get a good look at the colt. If I said she's being overprotective, that would be an understatement. At least she doesn't seem to have passed on her ridiculously foul temper.
I want to keep him too...why am I doing this to myself.
I may need to give up one of my other foals, because I don't think I can part with him ;-;
