Seriously, though... Great pic.

I grew up watching the original trilogy, as well as the prequel trilogy and the 2003 animated Clone Wars mini-series. While the prequel trilogy does have some flaws, as does the original trilogy in some parts, you will never convince me to hate the prequels. EVER.

With Episode VII, I really, REALLY wanted to like it. 

When the first teaser came up, I was crying with joy.

When I went an IMAX screening before the year's end, I was ready to love it with ever fiber of my being. 

However, as it progressed, I had these feelings of dissatisfaction and emptiness.

I asked myself, "Why I am not loving this? I should be loving this..."

By the end, I felt hollow.

While it had some great ideas and good story points, it was kind of forgettable. 

While I am somewhat excited for Rogue One, the trailers haven't really gotten me pumped, with the exception of the first teaser. 

In fact, I am somewhat dreading the release, given my experience with The Force Awakens. I don't know if that has something to do with the fact that Disney plans to release 1 Star Wars film per year or some other factors....

I haven't had time to see it yet, but I've scheduled something for this coming Tuesday.
