Here's another thrift store acquisition, a bubble shooting gun. Yes, quiver and quake in the presence of Death Bubble!!! Or should it be Bubble Death?

When I saw this cute, retro gun, I thought it might be a fun fallout or sci-fi weapon. I had been doing a lot of weapons with fuel tanks, and since this one no longer had the bubble bottle with it, I had to make my own. Turns out that the lid of a dollar store pump bottle fit in perfectly. I also wanted at least a little of it to glow, so I took one of my color changing LEDs and put it in there. It was one of the kinds that you twist to turn on, so I used that to my advantage and didn't put in a standard switch.

Even though I sanded the lid, it looked a little drab when the light went through it, so I took some transparent vinyl matting I had, and lined the inside of the lid. Now it has a lensing effect like an old style stoplight or something. Pew pew!
