So a few months ago I had the idea to do my version of the history of Celestia and Luna, covering the events leading up to and when Luna became Nightmare Moon and her banishment.Instead of doing a plain old fanfic, I planned on doing a fully illustrated storybook, spanning two volumes.
Now, from what was mentioned at the NYCC pony panel, and events from season 3, I feel that it would be rendered redundant, so I thought I'd at least finish this teaser poster I started last year.

I got as far as the text by the moon and was already teary-eyed; seeing Celestia's expression, though, I almost lost it completely. . . ya bastard.

Personally, I think you should still make the two-volume, illustrated storybook. If you put the same amount of quality into that which you did into this poster, then it would be awesome.

"All she wanted was to be loved?" Really? I've never believed for a second that Luna wasn't loved, she was only jealous of her sister and then let some evil force corrupt her and turn her into a villain who wanted to kill everypony. That's way more serious stuff than just wanting to be loved.

this would be awesome to read, see, or watch ... redundant or not it's always nice seeing a wonderfully done and well thought out work presented by a dedicated fan ... i enjoy seeing people's different takes on characters and how they think someone (in this case somepony) might have developed
