from a while back; bits of a portrait shoot. my whole film had two nice scratches going down the roll after developing.hp5 @ ~2500

no. I use my fingers for the reason that the squeegee usually has shit on it.
clean fingers, mind you.
however, the film was like this before I had rubbed water off.

ahhh, did you load the canister yourself, bulkloading? Sometimes even new canisters will have some shit in the velvet, just enough to fuck a roll.
