The purple color scheme is a particularly interesting choice. It lends in interesting mood to things. Certainly not as melancholy as blue would've been. Also: I find it cool that you didn't use the lava lamp as your light source. Bravo!

You have serious talent. The colours are sublime. Who cannot be moved by refrigerator light? hehe. I think it would be nice to have a little restrained moonlight reflection in here too, like a window frame across the sideboard and up the wall or perhaps the lavalamp on?. And I see you have my fav deviation of yours up on your wall. Quite, quite perfect.

Are you applying to Cooper Union? This was part of the home test last year. At the time, I was a non-student, and hadn't proper time to invest in the six original pieces. I could only squeak out three, and they werent very thought-out. If you are, good luck! They shot my ass down, but I'd still love to go there.

very groovy indeed love.....much your styling, i still love it the lava lamp, and the painting on teh wall...is that one of your own? looks like it a bit. and yesh, the color choice of the funky light source is uber nifty..all in all, a very interesting and well done piece. Im sure youll get a grootalific grading on this. rock on

mmm... I love the portal effect. Makes me think of that point when you're about to enter a dream, but you're still slightly awake.. Like someone's opening another world to you, and all you have to do is slip across. Very peaceful.

man...that's my childhood right there...being soooooooo scared of everything in bed...I love the way you made the light source and such. The highlights and the crazy green contrast sooooooooo well...it's very nice.
