Description
A drawing of an upcoming kaiju for possible use with Durontus Attacks: Ecotaris.It will basically be some huge living coral reef, created when scientists were attempting to create a farmable underwater food.
Powers will include the ability to shoot a paralyzing cloud from the barnacle things on its back, as well as a stream of chemical infused seawater from its mouth.
He's big by the way, as tall as Durontus but obviously larger.

This actually came first, but I didn't ever post the original drawing. I managed to lose it somewhere. The clover contest was going on at the same time almost, and I heavily based it on the concept for this creature. To be honest, though, I never liked my redesigned clover, and thought this monster needed an upgrade instead.

Of course it is! I like fanart in any way, shape or form. Heck, you could make Cicadrala out of mashed potatos and that would be the best.

Although I do really like durontus's design, I really want to see him in color, so I can better see the detail in his skin. He always looks so pale. XD

He's a pretty pale monster... he's white. I plan on starting another painting soon, perhaps with more skin detail.

Now thats a sea monster. I like how the various pores and coral parts all mesh well together with the whole thing. The extra legs and mountainous shape give it the sense of a living enviroment and something just a tad alien normal people can't figure out.

Thanks! It's supposed to look rather alien and huge, almost amorphous at times. Like legs are blending in with parts of its body.

I love this whole durontus universe taking shape. Durontus is an EXCELLENT protagonist kaiju, just as they should be,realtively simple in design, but having one or two basic powers that are very effective, and needs to use it in different ways to beat enemies with different advantages.

I'm glad you like Durontus so much. It means a lot to me. Creating a kaiju like him has taken almost my whole life to figure out, ever since when I started drawing. As a matter of fact, I was going through old middle school/high school sketchbooks and found various kaiju designs, some not far from Durontus now. It shows just how long I've wanted to seriously create a classic styled monster. I plan to keep the whole shebang going, thanks mostly to people awesome responses. Thank you so much.

Man that's really awesome concept. Durontus's world is starting to take shape man. It harkins back to the golden age of kaiju with all of the designs you have. Keep up the great work!
