It's amazing how something as simple as a pine tree can bring back so many memories for me. There's really nothing I can critique here, but it reminds me of some really good times. Easily my most poignant memory was a trip I took to the Virgin Islands a little while ago. I found a nice shady area up on the beach to practice martial arts on, and I decided to toughen up my forearms by hitting a thick tree. I ended up knicking my arm just a little bit, but it was all worth it. I even swam in the water afterward. Yeah, call me a tough guy.
Forgive me for reminincing, but that's what happens with photography. The way this photo is done, it just brings back good memories. Even the background makes me think of the grassy hills that led up to the bars. Just beautiful. So thanks for reminding me of some fun times. Welcome to the list.

your comment is really touching me
this one is not my greatest artwork, but still, there is one human can be touched by it
its allright, i always read people's thought, that the communication really is, and its hard to communicate with nature, something math and art cannot comprehend....
i have a similiar memories just like you, i was a student of martial art long time ago, and all the way to the top of the mountain and training with my friends, but life is strange, God knows i suffer more in the city , but i never hit a pine tree, my master just teach me how to dodge incoming blows, and the art of escaping..you really are tough guy
thank you for the list
