Commission for Atroquine of their gorgeous HARPG stallion. I had so much fun with the background, can you tell? Recently I've been pushing myself to do backgrounds and go further with them than I ever have before; usually I avoid them at all costs :L To my surprise I'm actually really enjoying it, and I don't think the results are too shabby if I do say so myself!ΒRef from venomxbaby

Again, this background makes me envious! Just like I said on Dave The Cob , the simplicity is so convincing and beautiful. The horse is also absolutely stunning (the braids are a classy touch) and I love the barley. Just such a lovely image!

Thank you! I loved drawing the background, I used to hate them with a passion so it's great how times have changed. Barley is a particularly favourite (I would draw wheat fields all day if I could) <3

Hahaha I loath backgrounds, but I'm trying to make a conscious effort to improve on them! The barley is so awesome, I've never thought of drawing it! I've been wanting to do a corn field for some time but I'm terrified.

That pose is darling! β₯ The braids in the mane give such a nice touch! The trees way off in the bg are so pretty! The colors really go well together.
