Well, looks like I couldn't stay away from the Zelda art!I just wanted to do something different about Ganondorf. We all know he's batdoodoo crazy and evil, but as of more recent games he's had a lot more depth, and I felt bad for killing the guy. Particularly, in wind waker, he almost gets poetic about his past in the desert and the harsh winds there.
I imagine this is some sort of training ritual for the king of gerudo when they're still young. Waiting a day out in the desert heat and sun, to toughen them up.
Right hand = triforce someday.

Well from what i recall Gaara had to deal with the fact his mother and his surrogate mother died because of him and that everyone seemed to hate or fear him due to his demonic powers. He was basically always alone or very anti-social for most of his young life. Ganondorf from what we know was never hated by his people (i mean he was made king of all of them) and his mother seemed to have loved him. At best you could say they have similar backgrounds when it comes to semi demonic origins but after that the similarities kind of end.

But as Demise's mortal reincarnation, he was naturally lacking in empathy. Still, he had a shit life before he awoke the demonic spirit that burned inside him. Then the Triforce revealed that demonic spirit by bringing it out, and from that point on he was a demon, not a Gerudo.

I imagine he's probably thinking, "I hope the sand that just went down my pants wasn't hiding a scorpion..." Well, if it was it would certainly explain his anger...and the tightness of his pants in later parts of the game...

I logged in just to comment. I have frequently pondered Ganondorf's childhood and his origins which would harden him to an evil crazy. A piece like this is rare. Delightful job!

That's pretty deep. And he's almost attractive in your adaptation. Fantastic job in projecting emotion in to his expression. It feels like he isn't evil here, just an angsty young Gerudo.

Awww teen-ganon..... So cool! I have been liking Ganon more and more too as the series goes on. Actually in WindWaker when he's talking about the harsh winds, ya you know the part. Well that's when I started getting confused about who Ganon really is as a person. I always thought that he was just plain evil and a meanie and has no feelings. But that scene showed some really in-depth personality. Which is like I like this pic because it shows some of that. GREAT JOB!!

yeah ganondorf is a pretty cool character if u really think about it. hes sword is pretty sick in twilight princess too...unless im thinking of the one you sometimes see him posing with in SSB.
btw he kinda looks like a mix between desert punk, gaara from naruto, and or zuko from avatar the last airbender. just my opinion.

Ganondorf isn't evil at first, he just wanted his land to be like Hyrule, but when he couldn't do it so he wantd the reast of the world to feel as bad as his people do. That's when he turned evil.

It could also be like one of these rituals I heard of that indians used to do, they sent out uh.... 15 year old guys I think, with no food or water. Then the kids that go out find a secluded spot where no one will find him and they just sit there and wait for a sign for their future or what they'll become in the future.
This picture just reminded me of that, so it's just a thought.
