Submission for Artist Training Grounds - Day 13."Draw a pony transforming/Draw a pony in disguise"
The Stable Dweller's body mutates into an alicorn.
The limited I.M.P. absorbed by Littlepip gradually intensified and gave her months of random periodic mind spikes, until at last it reaches a climax and Littlepip's willpower could no longer contain her inevitable transformation.
Note: She'll be a unicorn again by tomorrows ATG. Although I wonder... if her taint exposure really did transform her body into an artificial alicorn? Or cause some physical changes? At least partially?

Well, according to Fallout:Equestria end chapters, Littlepip has chosen conciously staying in the One pegasus project building, because doctors told her that because she absorbed some I.M.P. after she blew up the black book with alicorns godess, this caused transformations on genetical level, so that Littlepip would have literally seen her wings groving on her body in a few years.

Well, that what I said about "caused transformations on genetical level, so that Littlepip would have literally seen her wings groving on her body" bases, actually, not at the MLP:FiM headcanon after season 3, but on one fanfic which I read (it's original language - Russian, here it is if you are interested ficbook.net/readfic/1511137 ) .

The problem with it is that to the Wastelanders, a Alicorn is just a new form of mutant. One they never would follow as a new Princess.

Honestly, from early on in the story I could see Littlepip becoming an Alicorn, and the more and more that Kkat hinted at it I became unable to remove this from my mind:
Littlepip suddenly screamed out in agony, falling to her side in shrieks of pain. "Littlepip! Littlepip, what's wrong?!" Calamity shouted as he rushed to his friend and tried to hold her still, as Reggie helped him and Velvet frantically used a scanning spell to try and figure out what was hurting her.
"What? That doesn't make any sense! How can this-?!" Velvet was cut off as a blast of telekinetic energy exploded from Littlepip, throwing her friends several feet away. Velvet was the first up, looking on in horror. "She's growing wings! Her body is literally ripping open her back for her new bones to-!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Littlepip let loose an especially piercing wail as suddenly two sharp bones pierced through her Canterlot Police armor, spurting blood as they quickly extended out of her body, whilst muscle seemed to crawl through the holes in her back along them.
"What in tarnation?! She's becoming an alicorn!" Calamity stated the obvious as he ran back over to her, only for a barrier to block him from his ailing companion. "A barrier?!"
"We will not let you interfere!" In a flash, a purple teleporting alicorn warped in next to Littlepip, with two green shielding alicorns with her, one then stood still and a visible barrier, stronger than the previous impromptu one, surrounded them. The second one faced Littlepip, and cast another barrier inside the previous one, keeping the alicorns safe from Littlepip's friends and Littlepip's spontaneous flares of telekinesis at the same time. "The one who slayed the Goddess, and even foiled Red Eye's plan to replace her is ascending, as is proper! We will ensure she is safe to assume the new role as the Goddess!"
"Let her go you stupid clones! She's not your new damned goddess!" Reggie angrily aimed Little Gilda at them and was seething that she was low an ammo at the moment, meaning she couldn't just blast through it.
"On the contrary, she meets all the requirements, and that last drop splashing on her from the explosions in Red Eye's ascension chamber was the last thing she needed. Now watch, as your leader becomes OUR leader!" The purple alicorn turned towards the writhing gray unicorn-turning-alicorn, as she was already finished growing in the wings, as her feathers were started to grow in now, but she was also growing bigger.
The small-framed unicorn couldn't be called such anymore, as her legs grew longer, her body did as well but remained slender, and her neck and head joined in as well, until she looked just like the monsters around her, save her gray coat and brown mane and tail. The transformation finished as her horn grew longer, and her shrill screams of pain fell into pitiful mewling, her voice had changed slightly due to her bigger neck, being just a bit lower in pitch, but easily identified as her voice still.
"L-Littlepip? Can you hear me?" Velvet tentatively called out in worry, and gasped when she saw her friend's Cutie Mark fading. "No! Stay with us! Littlepip! LITTLEPIP! Don't lose yourself! Don't forget who you are!"
Littlepip couldn't hear her friend, she couldn't hear anything but the seemingly endless stream of voices filtering through her head. It was so easy to forget, as each voice praised her in joy, shouting for her; "our Goddess". 'N-no...I'm not....' Littlepip's mark was almost completely gone, but just before it ceased to be, it instead flashed back into being, clear as day, but the PipBuck it represented was much more sophisticated than the basic model portrayed before. Being a custom PipBuck 3-Billion. "No!" Littlepip suddenly shouted before she let her green magic aura loose, and seemed to grab the barrier around her, before shockingly ripping it apart in an outwards pulse that not only knocked the first barrier down, but violently smashed the three other alicorns into the outer barrier, causing it to fall with the second green one's disruption. "I'm Littlepip! I'm nopony's goddess!"

Oh, she was certainly going that way. she already had their rad-healing, and probably even lack of ageing by the end of the story.

Out of wondering, in that so much of your art has been of this series. What would you say has been the stories greatest strength and its worst weakness?

The reason I draw Fo:E religiously is for personal challenge (Artist Training Grounds or ATG) and to satisfy some wish fulfillment. The story is purposely left vague in some parts, leaving something to be desired.
My favorite thing about the story would be the characters, and how they develop over the course of the story. I fell in love with the characters, which inspired me to start drawing them up until and perhaps after the ATG. On the other side, and ofc just my opinion, I don't quite agree with the rampant death and violent tendencies (that probably comes with being based on the fallout games), since they go against the values taught by FiM.
None of my scenes so far have been described by events in the official Fo:E by Kkat, everything basically my own interpretation of events that might happen after the story (at some distant point). My attempt is to integrate the values of FiM into the post Fo:E universe (absolutely no violence/death and limited suggestive themes).

Yes, I am very familiar with the fallout setting, and its, tendencies. In the best of lights, the vault dweller can be a beacon of hope, to the most vile scourge upon the world. But that is ultimately left in the players hands, as it were.

Not really, she was quickly becoming an alicorn in the story. Internally, she was already showing signs, more taint exposure would have eventually completed it.

Perhaps slightly taller, I think, but certainly not princess height.
I've based her size similar to Twilight Sparkle, after she was gifted with wings by Princess Celestia.

Heh, I was just making a joke about her height, but that sounds interesting. Was it just me, or in that episode, did Twilight steal some of her height from Shining Armor?
