A simple modification of Aurora Leopard to make things look a tad more awesome.
Only 2 more weeks of school, 5 final projects to complete, and look at what I am doing...
Sorry people, I'm no longer sending out the gtk theme. But, it really is not that hard to DIY.

It's actually one big image that I used as the background to the panel, it spans the width of my screen (1680px). Glad you like it.

How did you make the file system viewer's toolbar black? I'm playing with the gtkrc file, but I can only make the whole background black, and not just that toolbar.
And how did you remove the "File Edit View..." bar from the top? I can't figure that out, either.

I don't have the GTK anymore, I just remember it took forever to get it to change colors, well, it was easy to change the colors of the toolbar, but the buttons took a long time. It's a trial and error thing.

You just don't get it do you. It's not like I can just slightly modify somebody else's work and release it. That is like changing the color on a wallpaper/photograph and releasing as mine. It is not right, and I wish I never started handing the damn thing out. Also, FYI, it is not even on my hard drive anymore, so please, forget it.

nice shot! i'm new to ubuntu, could you tell me how you got your top toolbar to look like a mac? I'd appreciate it.

It is a background i made for it, which you can select in the panel properties. For the mac like menu, google global menu, you should come across a google code page, with an installer. Just follow the directions on the page, it's rather technical, but not over the top. The clock is done in gconf, which you will find under the panel > applets tree (could be different, I'm not on ubuntu right now so I cannot check), just look for one that seems to have settings for a clock
