Explanations(Because I'm sorry, I'll never do something that mean again!;_; Iwuv you):
-5th gen needs a rep, and Victini is seeming like a popular and important one.
-Tingle's games are all on the DS, and there's no doubt in my mind that he'll get in one of the games; I chose this one. Also, he's in his own spinoff series, not Zelda!
-Could be Magnus, too; but I'm thinking Medusa, since we don't know Magnus's role in the game yet. I do think the handheld is the place for them, due to 2/3 games in the series being handheld, including the newest one.
-The most recent FE game, and was on the DS. She's a very major character from both of them, and wields a unique weapon, and is female. The best Roy, Eliwood, Lyn or Hector has is one of those, and Roy actually has none.
-Represents the Game Boy, is a Miyamoto creation, and is a Puzzle representation too. Sakurai clearly thinks puzzles need to be repped; look at how Doc was almost in Brawl!
-Not sure about Nester. A different Historical handheld character also works.
-What the? Matthew on 3DS but not WiiU? What blasphemy is this? I don't think I even have to defend this choice; everyone I've met everywhere agrees.
-Jenna reps the 1st 2 games, as main character of game 2(No, it's not Felix. Go play it again.) and damsel in distress of game 1. She's also not another Venus adept.
-I support Starfy in general, but sadly, with 2 versions, he indubitably is more suited to the handheld.
-The (Famicom, Advance, Game Boy, Battalion) Wars series is fairly popular, and has seniority over Fire Emblem even! Advance Wars is definitely the most popular of the subseries, and it, unlike the one with seniority, has *gasp* CHARACTERS! Not considering the train wreck that was Days of Ruin, Andy is also most recent, and most popular, protaganist.
-Star of Nintendo's new IP, Rolling Western. No, he would not be a Sonic clone. Yes, he would be cool.
-Woooo, a choice bound to inspire controversy! Is there a single person here who doesn't think Cave story's Robotic hero wouldn't be awesome and unlikely? Nintendo seems to be in love with this game, and with the upcoming Cave Story 3DS, I'd say he has a chance.
-Yes, I did have 2 3rd party characters on my 3DS roster. Layton...I haven't played the games, but I've hear he's got great moveset potential. No doubt he's popular all over, even getting a crossover with the Ace Attorney himself. He's published by Ninty everywhere but Japan, so they might not even put him as 3rd party.
