Yeah. All the ladies can forget about "hung like a horse". How about "deliciously monstrous like a snake" eh?

Thanks. The face was perhaps the only element that remained unchanged all the time during the process of designing it.

Would be interesting to see it implemented for example as a stop motion puppet in the movie

I think the original line is much funnier and more insulting: Your mother sucks cocks in Hell.

I think Lucifer has it too. Breasts, snake dick and goat legs. No wonder he has thousands of harems while God has NOTHING xD

Humbaba and Pazuzu were brothers...that's one of the reasons for both of them having snake penises...
I'm not sure why they have snake penises in the first place. I feel like it symbolizes something but I don't know what.

I think it speaks to some inner psychosexual fear...similar to the vagina dentata. Does that make sense?

It does, actually. I was thinking of the 'vagina dentana' when I was trying to figure this out. It's interesting.

Pazuzu is apparently the possessing demon in "The Exorcist." Paz also has two sets of wings that makes me think it could have been a corrupted Tetramorph.

Early Christian iconography is very Power Rangers - esque

KingsOfEvilArt In reply to Chamjari [2015-11-25 19:09:16 +0000 UTC]
actually Pazuzu was himself summoned during exorcism ritualas. While he was evil himself he apparently rivaled other evil demons, like baby killing Lamashtu.

Is that one the same as Moloch? I always knew Moloch as the eater of children. Almost all of my knowledge of demonology comes from Milton's Paradise Lost.
Blatt's "captain howdy" was definitely Pazuzu though.

KingsOfEvilArt In reply to Chamjari [2015-11-25 19:41:50 +0000 UTC]
No, these are different figures. Recently I even read that "moloch" might have not been a deity at all, and only name of sacrifical ritual, where children were burned for another god - Baal. According to some archeologists at least.
Pazuzu was the spirit of "evil wind" and it is quite amazing that might actually have some scientific base to itself www.nytimes.com/1981/10/06/sci…

Confusing rituals with deities makes sense. I still like Moloch as a demon name though, because it sounds like a terrible name if you use the bottom part of your throat like a Danish sound.
Good article. Buttttttt... we both know it's probably just demons.

Wallis Budge opined that Pazuzu could have originally been a locust demon, later combined with the malaria demon.
