This mod has:
•Men of Leng replacing the shotgun zombies (their chieftains dual-wield double-barrel shotguns)*
•Maniacs with AK-47s replacing the pistol zombies
•Dholes (Episode 2), Atlach-Nacha (Episode 3), the High Priest Not To Be Described (Episode 4, here interpreted as an avatar of Nyarlathotep), & Star-Spawn appear as bosses (Episode 5 adapts the opening chapter on Call of Cthulhu)*
•Atlach-Nacha is joined by her minions, the Leng Spiders. Both can spawn miniature versions of themselves*
•Spawn of Glaaki appear as water mooks*
•You can release Ghouls to help you. Appearance-wise & functionally, they’re revenants a with a railgun replacing the missile launchers*
•Dimensional Shamblers appear as mini-bosses in episode 4*
•Flesh Spawn of Abhoth appear with annoying regularity from Episode 2 onwards, replacing the Lost Souls.*
•Flayworms*, Star Vampires*, Nightmares* & Skeletons replace the Pinkies
•A creature called the “Grell” replaces the Cacodemon
•Hell Warriors (called “Nemean Lions” in the fluff) replace the Hell Knights
•Shadow Beasts (Episode 1 bosses) replace the Baron of Hell
•Devils replace regular imps
•Vulgars & Roaches function as Deep Ones
•The Arachnotron replacements have railguns instead of plasma rifles
•The Death Incarnate (a black armored skeleton with a raygun & punches that only stays dead if gibbed upon the killing blow & spawns a kamikaze energy ball if gibbed) rounds out the monster roster
•There is an Easter egg monster on E4M9. I won’t spoil it for you, however.

Skeletons have major advantage as low maintenance. No worries about excess weight or dieting.

So much nostalgia for these guys; I would blame Harryhausen for their rampant-presence in sword-and-sorcery games.
Because it was brought up, though, fair warning: Dark Souls is a tough game by design. Unless you look up some tips before playing, you can likely expect to die a lot. If that doesn't scare you, though, I can vouch it will be one of best games you'll play. It's not going to be apparent at first, but there's a wide web of a story to discover if you dig for it. Here's a tip if you do decide to pick it up, if you come up against skeletons early in the game, you may want to consider taking a different route.

it was cool that Ray Harryhausen animated these fellows. the looks of our skeleton inspired the design of Terminator. you know Might and Magic sounds like Industrial Light and Magic or ILM
