This race always go into space requesting for duels all the time.
some are non-lethal, other challenges are to the death.
The thing is they have an Honor and battle like missed thought they have multiple definitions of what a battle and honor is.
If you Somehow manage to talk then down thats it.
they are also stubborn and extremely determine, so better be prepared, Cuz once they have something in their minds It difficult to make them change their minds.

Going trough space and Doing Pew pew make me Imagine that they are like the Orcs(world of Warcraf)/Krogan(mass effect)/ (insert alien races with honor in Battle and honor before reason mindset here), As for the secretive about the origins well I wanted to imagine that the Races has a Collective traumatic/Bad time experience with their home planet.
