Description
Created by the power of the X virus and given the form of a user, Fauna is one of the Guild of Anubis' "secret weapon" with the ability to manipulate virtual space. Originally based on a character ceated by Spring the Rabbit, Haruko, who later went on to be the main character of her own comic. This final character design was done by Spring to keep the same type of feeling as Haruko once had. Fauna was built similiarly to the D-Bug dragon in how she has two personalities, represented by a red and blue coloring, with red being her more compassionate human side, and blue being her cruel killing machine side. Fauna escapes an raid on TOME by the Guild amidst the chaos and eventually meets Nailock a few days after the assault has passed. The two form a quick friendship over nightly visits and conversations...but her association with the enemy is quickly found out. Anubis' forces continue to try and retrieve her, but to no avail. She has the ability to take control of "junk" data within the virtual landscape, and telekinetically control it as she wishes. With this power, she built the gigantic base of operations for the Guild of Anubis. Her role by the halfway point of the season was helping the main characters find Darkeyes' HQ on an island disconnected from TOME. Using the full amount of her powers, she cracks and shatters the barrier surrounding the stronghold, sacrificing herself to allow her newfound friends to pass through and stop Darkeyes, allowing the final battle to begin. She was to be voiced by Spring herself, or possibly someone of her choosing.
