Freya was one of my favorite characters in Final Fantasy 9. I don't make a lot of anthro drawings, and this was a fun little deviation from the norm.Related content

Freya belongs among the class of female characters who are serious and bad ass, but also kind and caring. Like Riza Hawkeye, or maybe Rukia. I dunno. I made a list recently, haha. I also included: Renamon, Blaze the Cat... my list was pretty short. Tried to think of more.
But yeah, she looks awesome. I like the way you drew her face, especially her eye, for some reason. Can't quite put my finger on it.

I did a little study on burmecians for this one. The idea was to translate the ff9 art style through mine. One thing I noticed is that they kept their features simple or in the case of Freya, they have her face hidden most of the time and you rarely actually see her eyes. What you might be seeing is that I have accentuated a feature that is typically a little obscured.
