It looks great, but my only criticism would be that the JPEG compression appears to have undone quite a lot of your hard work. Might I suggest PNG?

Have a feeling you're right. I also didn't have my ambient occlusion on a small sample size for the initial render which probably didnt help either....I'll have a go at png!
