At some point you'll stop,
look in the rearview, and ask yourself: "what if"s.
But when the light turns green you'll know
you still have so far to go.
If you have to look back to see it?
It was never meant to be.
It was nice while it lasted,
but there's miles more of road to go.

Something I wrote on a rainy day, thinking about people while I'm driving. I seem to think a lot while I'm driving. I don't know if it's because of the CD's She gave me that I listen to, or if it's just because I'm all alone with the temptation of swerving in front of traffic and killing myself.

Life's funny that way, I guess.
