I WAS FIGHTING THESE DESIGNS THE ENTIRE MONTH LMFAO good god. i think i recolored the vampire.. three times. the zombie twice, and the poltergeist twice as well?? christ, but here we are with the final product HAHA. like last time though, these burnt me out pretty bad and i still have work to do, so i'll update with their flavor text a ittle later.

- Poltergeist Maiden -

STORY:
It is said that the poltergeist maiden wanders the night in search for married couples to devour. This tale comes from years of retelling a local event, where a poor bride had died on the day of her wedding. In the midst of celebrating at her spouse's estate, she had leaned over the balcony to wave at a friend. Having always been wild in her gestures, naïve, and unaware of her surroundings; she leaned too far and fell on the cement below. Now she is bitter, seething over the loss of what was meant to be her happiest years.

This is not the truth.

Her death was no accident. Wickedness had overcome the husband who delivered a push in the midst of the crowded balcony. Because the party was overflowing; it was easy to say he merely tried to grab her. Such cruelty only so that another woman could fall into his arms.

It is also untrue that the maiden is dangerous. She searches the dark, but does so with an uncertain expression. "Where have all the guests gone?" she wonders, hoping to see at least one face. But nobody ever comes.

It has been many years since the estate was torn down. Some say they still see her; one lone light in the dark, drifting around the outline of a building that no longer exists.

EXTRAS:
- the candle never dies
- tips of her hair and dress consists of floating ectoplasm, it feels like mist to card your hand through it
- she seems blind to whether someone is there or not, but there is one way to get through that no one has yet to find
- sometimes she can be seen dancing in the meadow nearby. supposedly it was where she and her spouse used to meet

- Death Walking -

STORY:
In the wake of a world-wide zombie outbreak, there aren't many things out there still living. City streets are streaked with lines of undead. Family houses stand empty with their front doors swung open. Even zoo's are devoid of life, offering only dead leaves and rusted gates to look at.

When life is so precious, you must preserve any that you find.

How many years has it been since the outbreak started? They cannot tell. Numbers don't matter; all that holds any substance is keeping this puppy safe and themselves alive to serve as their protector.

However, sometimes in the night thoughts become muddled. Are they themselves truly "alive" at all? There is no way to confirm with another as there are no other people. As long as they can think, move and fight for what matters, that is enough for now they suppose.

EXTRAS:
- Is in large part undead, but has found a way to retain their humanity by replacing parts of their flesh with fresher pieces through grafting
- They were a med science student before everything happened
- Doesn't have a firm name for the puppy, usually refers to them as "Dog"- affectionately of course
- Doesn't want to kill people, so they roam looking for those who have been freshly turned instead to harvest their flesh for grafting. This is a risky game and has become harder to do.

- Bloodlord -

STORY:
One of the last of the elder vampires, turned directly by the first vampires themselves; the Bloodlord. Someone so powerful having been sealed away in an underground casket by a hunter... It's laughable, but their rage and hatred was tangible, a thick thing that would have swallowed the world had it not been contained.

It's only natural that their contorted expression of contempt was wiped for a smile when two reckless adventurers squeezed their way into the tomb and pried the casket open. This meant freedom. To enact revenge and anything else. The Bloodlord claimed their lives in a swoop and stormed out of the tomb, racing towards the sky in the shape of a black streak of bats. Only one thing was on their mind; to find the descendants of the foolish hunter and stomp out the embers of their bloodline for good.

EXTRAS:
- extremely proud of their lineage and the powers that come with
- was crowned "the bloodlord" because when their peers were still living, they witnessed them take the life of an entire village and leaving nothing. it was more to mock their appetite, but years down the line it sounds threatening
- the bats can form a shadowy replica of the bloodlord
- has extensive knowledge about winemaking and will take any opportunity to sneer at modern wines
- may or may not have taken a shine to the descendant they found; but that is a holy secret
