Felt like drawing some flutterbat. Realistic bat wings are kinda tricky, had to figure out the musculature too. Really like the result though.Related content

I like your style. You can recognize the characters, but they aren't overly stylized like in the show.

Definitely what I was aiming for. It's fun to draw them where you can recognize them easily, but still have the interesting anatomy of a real horse.

no really, it was in a good way :'D I had a sort of "sudden clarity" expression, like "oh my god, Shetlands are corgi ponies."

I model the ponies after miniature horses, particularly the Shetlands. I think they are rather cute. For the princess's they are more modeled after a regular horse, so they are more lanky.
