Photo reference from [link]I haven't drawn many horses in motion. Charcoal on bristol w/ smudgy sticks and erasers. I would've made the legs longer, but I ran out of paper room, lol

oh, someone has quite the following! Love the smooth feel that the fur gives off, looks like it was just brushed. I agree the legs are a little small (stupid paper) but it doesn't really hinder the piece. Now, im going to go drink myself into a coma so i dont hold this against my own artistic talents in the morning! YO HO AND A BOTTLE OF RUM!

Thank you! Yes, anything you can point out will help me, I always seem to mess up on horse shoulders and elbows. I saw some of your pictures, I think the shading is fine! I think it's more the contrast, have you ever used charcoal? You can get alot more dark shading that way (or you could use a really dark pencil, lol)

oh there wasn't much to critique here, haha. Well, no I have never really used charcoal, I don't really know how. I'm in an art class but we dont get to pick our mediums. Is that what you did this guy with? I just use like 4B amd 6B pencils, thats why my shading is like crap, haha. Hopefully i'll learn sson if you reccomend it xD

Oo his left shoulder looks a little flat. if you add a little more contrast right behind it, around the elbow area it will bring it out more, but other than that great work!!
