Description
Chace the red merle Border Collie showed off lots of her tricks during her session - this was my favourite, her "shame" face.Related content

The camera and lens means nothing if the photographer hasn't got the knowledge and experience to back it up. Even a point and shoot is capable of taking good shots with the right mindset and practice. I'm lucky to have been able to purchase this gear over the past couple of years, but without the time and practice with my old gear then I would not be able to produce photos like this. It's not what you have, it's how you use it. Keep working with what you have so that when you can get new gear then you'll be ready to use it to its' full potential.
Here are some of my earlier photos from a few years ago, using nothing but a basic point and shoot camera and the free photo viewer on my computer. That's where it all started, and some of those photos have beaten people with $5,000 cameras in competitions - kiwitakeflight.deviantart.com/β¦

Thanks, I agree with you, it's just sometimes there are things that a second hand digital camera can't do *sigh*. Anyway though, regardless of camera, the subjects and positioning of your photos are phenomenal.
