Finally I finished it .
Based on this tutorial: cgcookie.deviantart.com/art/Ex… .

I noticed that colouring in the way I do it with a ballpen works nicely as one of steps in digital painting. I don't get frustrated forced to use too big brush or too small. I just use smaller than expected and then when it's ready I smudge it. It gave very good result here and I'll continue this technique in my other works. It helps me nicely control and build values, but smugding absolutely can't be the last step. It will require refining edges with smaller hard brush, what I've lreaned in previous flower exercises .

Not all my "grades" applied to exercises, so I chosed only hese which makes sense .

Looks good, but not photo-realistic enough.

Values: 5/6
Looks fine, but what else could I expect if I use ready palette? It's far easier in such way.

Smudge worked here better than I supposed, but I should refine edges where it didn't work.
