It's pretty good so far. Obviously not as great as Prime, but it's decent on its own. There's just one thing that bothers me to this day. What the heck happened to built-in weaponry? I mean in Prime, they could switch between their arms and their built-in weaponry, like Arcee's awesome blades or Bulkhead's blunt weapon, along with the lasers. Now, they are using actual pistols?

My theory is that before Cybertron descended to war there would have been laws in place to prevent that sort of modification, it was peaceful back then after all and would likely be a crime to do so, carrying hidden weapons in public places would have been a great safety concern. I can also see it as being banned by tapping directly into a Cybertonians energy supply, likely to be very dangerous to implement without a specialist and fatal if overused ala BW Dinobot's eye lasers.
When war broke out and the laws went to hellΒ many transformers opted to have weapons built into them for ease of deployment, carrying and element of surprise, both sides did it so was necessary for nearly all. When cybertron was restored I can see them trying to revert to the old system to demilitarise Cybertron, having groups of Cybertronians running around with hidden weapons is a recipe for disaster, so everyone bar some Decepticons e.g. those on the Alchemor had them removed and returned to safer, more visible firearms.

I've been wondering why they didn't use their blasters, and that's a pretty good theory.

Looks sweet. I'm digging the series so far. Not as much as Prime but it's still pretty good and fun and it reminds me a whole lot like Animated which I like. The animation's nice and it reminds me of Tron Uprising's animation too which is cool. I really hope Hasbro keeps this going on somehow because I doubt CN is going to be kind to it given the channel's history with dealing with shows like YJ,Beware the Batman and Green Lanturn TAS.

Yeah I agree with you are saying, it's good though Prime it's still my favorite one, I recently saw episode 9 via online and so far I think the stories and episodes are starting to get less childish and a bit more serious rather than comedic, so I am hopeful it will be a great show like Transformers Animated. I don't really worry much about the series getting cancelled because of CN's handling of putting it in such a very early time slot, since Β Hasbro has been smarter with making the show available earlier on many other countries, so I think they will help make the series successful.

I have a feeling that the show will eventually raise the stakes up a bit and get a little bit darker like how Star Wars Rebels is starting to grow out of the kid friendly phase. As for the fear of CN canning the series I think you do raise a good point about the series airing overseas first since it could mean that Hasbro's prepared to find other ways to keeping the series alive which I hope that's the case.

I got a theory in mind concerning Grimlock, hopefully it is the closest thing we'll know what happened between the games and the new series.

This is a sequel to prime, and Prime is supposed to be aligned with the Cybertron games. I hope they explain why Grimlock starts off as a Decepticon if he's supposed to be the same Grimlock from Fall of Cybertron.

The animation may not be as fabulous as Transformers: Prime, but it's okay. The style it's done in and the designs are also really colorful, sleek and attractive.
Who's ready for my series of reviews on these episodes (as well as episodes of My Little Pony season 5 later on) called "Adventures on Planet CD"?

Aw, he's not bad at all in my opinion. He has G1 Grimlock (his personality) and FOC Grimlock (his love of fighting Decepticons and overall strength) in him. And he's really funny and clumsy and plain adorkable at times. RID 2015 Grimlock is my favorite incarnation of Grimlock.
