I wasn't really expecting this to happen when I turned around and saw it. I actually had my 500 on photographing wildlife at the time so I decided to get in close thinking it could really make for a dramatic image. The mountainside was bright orange from the light of sunrise/golden hour beaming against it. When an opportunity presents itself, click away!
