Compared to the stove he's standing on, whoah, that's huge!
Just like he should be! Have I asked you already, I can't remember, but which you think are easier to do, the big figures or the small ones? :0 I'd imagine the bigger ones because of more space to work with even if there's a lot more to do.

Both have different problems- small figures are difficult to sculpt, smaller details etc, and sometimes it's difficult to hide standard Bionicle joints in tiny body parts. Big bots like Helex or Overlord are tricky with proportions, because of dimensions and even foreshortening that can distort figure while building and watching it from close distance all the time. Bigger figure= heavier figure, which means a lot of heavy duty ratchet joints to keep it sturdy.

Ohh, I haven't even thought about it from those points. :0 Definitely it's more difficult to get proportions right when it's a big figure right in front of you. That's why I zoom out a lot in digital or traditional art to see if I have goofed up stuff. I can only imagine how annoying that is to happen with a figure building. x_x;/
Second is that I didn't even consider the strength of the joints. I would be so pissed off finishing the basic figure, and then adding only a bit more weight, like a missing detail would make the joints buckle in and it becomes a pancake on the table. Ahahha.
