Childhood:

Yvette was born into the extremely wealthy Masters family with her sister Hannah. She was given the highest education and pampered as a child along with her sister. Her parents were never usually around and in other countries. Her nanny taught her most of what society would be like. Especially the underbelly of it. Her nanny, Penny, would tell her fanciful stories of when she was young and would use the art of manipulation and a brothel to control the small town she hailed from. Yvette would go on to admire the concept. Control. It made her bubbly inside just thinking about it. She never really got along with Hannah as she always wanted to learn from books and words. Yvette wanted to learn from people and the booming city of New York. Around the age of 12 Yvette knew 8 languages, college math, how to shoot from her father, arithmetic, how to play her guitar from Juarez, Mexico and many other skills. She was bored of it all and began sneaking into the city and learning some skills she was interested in from observing the streets. She would usually jump from roof to roof to watch the street activity and take mental notes on if the criminal was caught or not. She did this most nights until she hit the age of 19 and she could finally go out on her own.

Young Adulthood: (TW: Forced Amputation)

She dropped her last name in a tattoo shop and demanded a sparrow tattoo on her right forearm of a sparrow. She started to apply the pickpocket art and get good at it. Yvette would pickpocket and place a card with a sparrow on it and walk away. Until she was caught and started to run. Just like when she would run on roofs she started to hop over obstacles and quickly get away from her target. She started with people that couldn’t chase her and moved up to putting on concealing clothing and smashing into people taking purses and wallets. She would enjoy the rush of the chase. Once the chase was over she would burn the money and throw it off roofs. One day she hit the wrong person. She pushed the man over and grabbed his wallet but he grabbed the bandanna from her face. Her face was exposed and she know the man saw it. She ,out of fear, tossed the wallet and ran home jumping through her window. She almost forgot about going out with the friends she had to make face with because of her last name. She took up the mantle on some of her parents work in the hometown. She would take up the face work and Hannah would do the paperwork. Yvette put on her finest dress and went to the restaurant to meet the clients. After a night of eating and easy talk and business relations she said goodbye and waited for her nanny to pick her up. She didn’t hear the man come up behind her and put a cloth to her face. Darkness. She woke up slowly in a warehouse with 2 men in it. One of them she recognized. The man she stole from. “So you think you can steal from us and get away with anything little miss?” She was tied to a chair and her breathing quick. “I didn’t even take your wallet!” She protested as she tried to break her binds. “Oh that’s not why you’re here. You’re a Masters and we’re sending a message. We got paid a lot to do so.” The man pulled up a bone saw and placed it under her knee. She couldn’t help but start to cry and struggle. The man slid it slowly back and forth as it breached the skin and tore through muscle. Her chest quickly inflated and deflated as her tears fell and she screamed at the top of her lungs. The saw cracked into bone with horrifying brutality. She was on the verge of passing out from the trauma when the man clenched his muscles and started to saw faster getting through the bone and hitting the calf. She remembered the burning at her leg and herself getting really cold when suddenly she heard gunfire behind her. The man quickly ran dropping the saw. She let herself succumb to the darkness of sleep and woke up in a hospital with her family around her. She later learned that when Penny didn’t see her at the pickup she went to look for her and followed the fabric and shoe down the alley to the warehouse when she heard the screams and pulled her small gun to investigate. She saw what they were doing and started shooting at the 2nd man. Sadly he returned fire and they killed each other. In the days to come her family treated her like a wounded animal and even fabricated her a prosthetic made of silver and gold. She was finished being treated like a small dog. She would never have control of her life. If you can’t have the one thing you want there’s no point to life. She was tired of it. This was bullshit. She had to get out.

Adulthood: (Arson, Viscera, Animal Mauling)

Yvette waited for everyone to be out while she packed her bags. Her guitar, her father’s custom Mares leg Winchester 1892 rifle, and her life savings. She changed her outfits to pants and vests to hide her leg. She packed enough for a week and headed out to the only place she was convinced her family couldn’t find her, Montana. She stepped off the train into a whole new world. No parties, no games, just the plains. She spent her money to hire a crew to build a cabin at the edge of the woods and a lake. She gave them the fake name Anne Halsey and took time spending money on her new home and a new wardrobe to cover any stink of New York she may have. She hung out in clubs playing her guitar and gaining a following of fans. She went by Sparrow and would perform while her home was built. People would come and enjoy her folk jams and she thoroughly enjoyed the popularity. When her home was built she would bring lovers in and out day and night. She was enjoying this new life she had. She even enjoyed the bar fights that would start in the speakeasies and hop in herself and deal some damage. If there wasn’t a fight it wasn’t a good show. She started picking up hunting and exploring the woods next to her home. She hunted deer and any small game she could find. One day she explored a little far and discovered a small shack of bootleg moonshiners. She tilted her head as she watched them work. Then she saw a familiar face. It was the man who took a piece of her. She ran home and waited for the hot Montana sun to go down. She cleaned her rifle and wiped her buck knife. It had to be more than luck that he was in her backyard. She grabbed a few things and headed out to where the shack was with only the moonlight guiding her way. She set a lit lantern down 15 feet away from the entrance and mimicked an owl as she hid in a bush and watched the door. She saw a large man come outside in his pajamas. Not her target but still a problem. She made the sound in the bush and waited for her prey. He walked over to the bush and she sprung from behind a nearby tree with a pickaxe. She landed it in his skull with a thud as his body fell into the foliage. She took a gulp of her whiskey bottle before tucking a scrap of cloth in the neck and lit it with a match. She smiled as she chucked it into the open doorway igniting the small shack a shadow ran out as someone else succumbed to the moonshine inspired blaze inside. She followed her target making noises to corral him towards the woods and smiled when she heard the metal snap. She approached the man as he screamed in pain from the bear trap he stepped in. “Uh oh! What have you got yourself into? Deary me it seems you’ve gotten yourself into a desperate situation.” She smiled as she kneeled in front of him. “You remember me? You will. I’m the last person you’ll ever see.” She ignored his pleas as she stood up and reached into her bag and pulled out 2 things. She tossed a bloody bone saw in front of him. “You’ll remember now you scumbag. Now I have something else with me.” She pulled out a jar of liquid and showed it to him. “Now this is what we like to call “Bear bait!” It’ll attract those damn buggers from about a mile around. You can take that there saw and free yourself and do whatever it is worms do. Oh and you’ll need to find a hospital.” She waited for the confused look on him and pulled up her buck knife and slid it down his thigh making a large gaping wound. “For that. So make a choice. Or don’t. Frankly, I don’t give a shit.” She walked away as he begged stopping a few feet away. “Almost forgot this.” She threw the jar at the trap breaking it and spewing the foul liquid all over his wound and the ground around him. She trekked up the ridge as hours passed and the sun raised on her. She looked at her knife as the sun reflected off the crimson blade. She would occasionally look down at the ridge to see the bears mauling the corpse and she felt...fulfilled. She felt her eyelids gaining weight. She felt her body fall against the soft dirt and everything went black. She felt concrete? Where was she?
