Merry Christmas!Taking par in *ThumbJr s Secret Santa Game this year, I used to be Secret Santa for
She wished a drawing of her character (I don´t know the name of him) the Red-thread-Detectiv.
He´s able to see the red thing of fate that bounds people together. Yeah. Very intresting story.
I hope you like the picture, since the original was lost by my stupidness D:
I thought I scanned it and forgot it at my place while being at home for christmas. And yesterday I realised that I can´t find the scan.
Well I drew this "new" scenery with a load more details and shadows.
I hope you like it, but I´m a person who need loads of references XD;
Well anyway I´m not 100% satisfied but for it being an experiment (kind of) I´m glad with how it came out in the end
(but I´ll definatly redraw it one day)

Das ist echt ne sehr interessante Idee mit dem roten Faden, gefällt mir unheimlich gut!
Ich finde auch die Umsetzung gut gemacht mit Perspektive, Farben etc. aber das wichtigste, nämlich der rote Faden, ist etwas verunglückt finde ich. Der sollte vermutlich der Fokus des Bildes werden, oder? Dafür geht der nämlich ziemlich unter (vor allem bei dem Crosshatching von der Wand). Irgendwie hättest du ihm mehr...Interesse verleihen müssen, erstmal vll. eine kräftigere Farbe (oder vll. um den Faden herum die Farben blasser, dass das rot mehr auffällt!) und dann noch eine wandelnde Form/Dicke je nachdem wie weit vorne im Bild... und auch die Ereignisse mehr im Bild verteilen, so ist alles etwas "rechtslastig" und man sucht irgendwie auf der linken Seite ständig was.
Klingt jetzt nach so viel harter Kritik aber ich bin sicher du nimmst es nicht übel auf X,D nur ein paar Anregungen.

Thank YOU so much, btw! Looks good. I'm so glad that you did a picture of him. He's so awesome. ^_^
I especially like the people inside the cafe, with the red thread connecting people who aren't even talking to each other. That was a nice touch! It's just everyday and he looks so peaceful. I've been wanting to do a picture like this for a while, too. I'll probably get around to it a lot faster now that I've seen this and it's given me some inspiration. Thank you and you're great. I thought it would be funny, to see two people interact with each other but not really be together. I mean, how often may it happen that you see your soul-mate but don´t recognize him/her? XD
Anyway I really love the idea of the story.
So it was fun to draw it. ^^

I never heard of it before either, before I became her secret santa and looked in her gallery.
Basically its about the red string that some people bind together. Like fate and other things. He is able to see that "red thread" or string.
