Huh...I can't speak for others, of course, but -- to me -- ivy carries a sorta negative connotation, always associated when I was a child with poison and itchiness. With regards to that, she looks unapproachable, what with the sort of vacant stare that dominates her expression (no glint in her eyes, no particular smile or frown creeping into her cheeks). It's like she's waiting for something or someone to risk...uh, touching her (that sounds a bit worse than I intend it) or simply being near her.
