Actually, considering how dark and depressing PiT got via the Shroobs... I don't think Nintendo would ever bring them back... Unless Nintendo makes remakes of PiT and BiS, as they just made an announcement for a remake of SS.

It would play sort of like Bowser's inside story, where you control the Mario bros on the top screen, and the Wario bros on the bottom screen!

Yeah, but if they did group up, then that would mean some pretty difficult gameplay for fans of the M&L series that are used to A, B, A, B, or X, Y, X, Y (they did piggyback for PiT for a reason). You would have some full-button action, and old M&L fans would hate that. Besides that, this would be cool! 😀

Yeah you could do something like that! It would be neat to have them playable but as two separate groups, and maybe join together when necessary. Man, fingers crossed this'll be their next title lol

I want this to happen so bad. Wario's (and Waluigi's) existence never seem to be regarded at all in the RPG Mario games, or main-canon Mario action games for that matter. (Aside from Wario's minor role in "Super Mario 64 DS" remake.) Wario only seems to appear in his own Wario Land & Wario Ware series games, and the Mario spinoffs. (The sports, party, & kart games.) While poor Waluigi only seems to exist in the spinoffs.

Saw that one as well and I find it funny and kinda annoying that he (love him or hate him) was pushed aside for other characters like the Bee Queen. Sure there's Waluigi Pinball but it doesn't really work without Waluigi himself...

BTW, Luigi was not in is game: www.youtube.com/watch?v=txcEMP… when you see the title screen, there's no 2-player mode, it just says Push Start Button.

Oh, in the more colorful version of the game, themushroomkingdom.net/images/… Mario turns green after becoming Fire Mario. Which makes him look more like Luigi.
Trivia: That game was also Hudson's first Mario game, not Mario Party 1 for N64.
