Say hello to Gearmon, one of the four main partner digimon of my series. Since we have protocol-type Akamon, vaccine-type Joltmon, data-type Dovairmon, and a Gloval-type digimon, I figured Gearmon should be a virus.
Gearmon is an ancient digimon, one of lost technology. No one has been able to reverse engineer this digimon, or its prior form Klinkmon.
Gearmon have a tendancy of lacking emotions, something almost all other machine digimon have. Even in both of its prior forms, it displays no feelings. Sure, it looks like it's having a fun time in this image, but that's due to clumsiness, which is common among Gearmon.
This digimon's origins are unknown, but there is reason to believe that they are a prototype version of Guardromon. After all, they do seem to be a majorly modified version of Hagurumon. Also, the metal it is constructed of seems to have unusual properties. It is capable of radiating particular forms of energy. This leaves many to believe that the source of its tech is in the metal it is constructed of.

It's special attack is iron gear attack. It opens the gear on its chest like a pair of sliding doors, and shoots out a gear-shaped blast of energy. It does grow rather quickly, and hits the opponent as though it were a solid object.

This drawing was done as a commission by my buddy Clownofgods. He also made Gearmon's prior forms, Doyomon and Klinkmon. So stay tuned for those.
