Titled after the initial lyrics in one of my favorate Skinny Puppy tunes, The Killing Game. This piece actually started out upside down to how you see it now, so the angel with clipped wings was slung into the fire. Eventually, it visually made sense to turn it around. I haven't done a piece like this in a while. Hope you like it.Related content

Sorry for the late reply, but you can as long as you go somewhere that does good work, it has lots of shading and a high level of symmetry. Β And send me or post a pic once it heals.

Just droppin by from the ~tattooflash page and I've gotta say, as much as I hate drop shadows, this is one of the more sophisticated uses. Very nice. My only concern is with finer gaps (or traps as we like to call 'em in my shop) in the design. Gaps that come closer than a dime or nickle's width in the skin have a tendancy to fuzz up in time.

Hey cool, man. I haven't been around lately; too busy working. You've been really busy yourself I see. Very cool looking stuff...you have developed a lot since I've last checked your gallery. I like the Skinny Puppy reference; being from Vancouver (home of Skinny Puppy) I've had the honor of seeing them live. There was a trail of blood soaking into the snow out side of the club where they played. Very nice indeed!

Skinny Puppy is an industrial band from the 80's to today, mostly popular in the late 80's to early 90's. They have a style that pretty much dictates much of my artwork. They have been on my top 5 list since I had a top 5 list.

Yeah, the decision on the direction, up or down, was based on a coin flip early in the project. It looks good the other way too, but the shadows aren't as dramatic. Your opinion is appreciated

i actually didnt take notice of the title, so when i saw the angel i was so amp'd lol...then i read the title 
this is an awesome piece, loving the overall flow of this piece (very sexy) and the sharp and fine points, as well as the soft curves of the top of the design. also like the overlapping and shadowing/shading a lot aswell, brilliant work, well done indeed
