I am a student of physics, I have interest in music, film, ongoing news and many others. I use my computer for "everyday computing". Nothing fancy. Browsing the net. Chatting with people on icq an irc ´chanells´. Listening to music, watching cowboy bebop.mkv
. Doing some hw with usual office apps or graph plotters. And having fun customizing my desktop.Always wanted to try this kind of setup with a ´toolsarea´ on the left or right side of the desktop. I think it turned out quite cool. I´m sure it could take a bunch of workarounds though. I am using virtual desktops in 2x2 allignment. The tray appears on mouseover at center of left edge of the screen. I´m not using a task list just window list buttons right under the Places. Application launcher is just run dialog. It means I am using keyboard shortcuts to run ´em and also too move around desktops.
