Description
This is a peice i am thinking about using for my 3rd year show.However im not sure if i have gone too far.
Its a photo manipulation of Nick Ut's Children running from a napalm strike.
I think what i have done to it is funny as hell but i dunno if others will see it that way give me your oppinion.

Out of context I guess there's a sort of humour to it, in light of their expressions, but there is a genuine context and you can't ignore that without coming across as ignorant. This is a picture of genuine horrific suffering that we'll hopefully never understand and I don't think it's right to mock that.
Just my honest opinion, babe.

PS I see how you're trying to get people to think, there's a bit more to it than a childish cheap laugh, but I think it's exploitative of actual people's suffering, as I said.

Its not that I don't like the guys work it is a great piece of photography and it really dose signify a point in time and the horrible anguish the Vietnamese went through.
Its bad taste but I think my childlike take on it makes you think.

You've gone too far I think. This is an iconic picture from the Vietnam war. This pic and another infamous pic of the assassination of a suspected Vietcong fighter are often credited as the straws that broke the back of American public support for the war.
The girl in the pic by the way was running away from a Napalm attack.
