Description
This is my first picture ever taken with my Sony DSC-F707 Cyber-shot digital camera. I was asked what the gear is from and to tell you the truth I don't really know. My father had a bunch of stuff in boxes in the tool shed and I found it there. One can only assume it came from a clock or something with big gears like that. the depth of field while keeping an overall good detail is quite, well....good. it is also very simplistic, which works very well for this shot.

Nice shot. Could use a higher res and some smoothing, but it looks good as is also. I just notice some compression distortion in the highlights.

ooo, nice! the defocus at the back is a great effect.
not to mention, the object is cool, and the lighting and colouring (was it tinted later?) are nicely done. i like this photo.
