"SLS - Stylish Lightning Stats"This is a sneak peak of a conky concept interface that i'm working on with 2 other friends from ubuntued.info
This is just an image. The first beta will come out soon!
This Conky concept will have a little options pannel, where we will be able to modify some features and add account info for the twitter and gmail services!

Interesting, do you use Ubuntu at all? your profile says you use Mac OSX.

Hi...
I'm only using Mac OSX about 1 month, since I decided to buy a MacBook Pro.
But before that happens i've used Ubuntu 75% of the time! The other 25% were for work in photoshop, illustrator, etc ...
But I haven't given up on ubuntu. It's a great OS and I still have some projects that depend on it.

Have you ever tried to live in a second or third world and buy Apple? Have you ever been below the poverty line, scraping together enough money to choose between buying food and buying gas meter cards? Computers shouldn't just be available to the middle class and the rich.
There is no full Apple computer for £120, yet you can get an IBM compatible for that much (new, not second hand) and you're much more likely to find a workable second hand machine too.
Apple is a company for comfortable hipsters, who want to look cool and have enough money to waste to do it. For every other man and the street: Ubuntu IBM or Android Arm.

Well, no! I get your point of view, that's exactly the reason i've said "In my opinion!".
In my own case, i can afford an Apple computer and i don't change them for any other computer on earth, not only for their cool look, but for the stability, performance, error tolerance, built quality, etc...
But, anyway... that's not the main question in these comments.

All of those things you like apple for are moot. The hardware is the same exact hardware as used in IBMs, the security is worse than even windows and their error tolerance is subjective. They've got good design though, it's not worth my freedom though.
