Name: ribbit + tar
Ribbitar --> Newtar ([link] ) --> Amphitar ([link] )

1] Ribbitar secrete a tar like toxin to protect their skin. The great internal heat Ribbitar generates causes the toxin to bubble, giving it a wart like appearance. The gas the escapes when the bubbles pop is flammable.
2] Ribbitar live in dank, remote bogs where they belch up flames in the night. Some say you can see their glowing, fire-hot bellies in the dead of night as they search for prey which they catch with their tongue and roast.
