Hey everyone, It's finished!
I have to say it was really great to be able to work on her again. I didn't play the original FF7, and playing the remake now I imediately felt in love with the character, so it was amazing to be able to do something about her now
I always like that "caught in the moment" poses, so I thought it was fitting to have her catching her breath after a training session

Gorgeous artwork here! The texture on her clothing and armor are so realistic and her face and mussed-up hair are beautiful! The addition of sweat shining on her body also really bring this picture to life and capture that "caught in the moment" vibe you were going for!
Glad you got into the FF7 remake because this picture is a treasure for the world!

Damn, you draw out the texture? I would probably warp a Google search of fabric onto the area then trace it. That seems like an easy way to do it. But the believability/fidelity of it being realistic might be lesser than your illustration. I definitely think brush control and brush selection seems to be defining element here.

I think one thing you always nail is exactly that snapshot 'caught in the moment' aspect. It gives all your work, and your characters, such a satisfying depth and, like, weight to them, if that makes sense? 
Tifa looks incredible though, she is awesome, and you've done a fantastic job with her!

Thank you! I think it's interesting to make them more "grounded" and believable. It's fun to think of them how they would be as actual persons and not, like you said, "distant entities"

Some people will talk about amazing her face is, and maybe even other assets, but those abs Krys. Wow.
Also how long did the socks take, i see those insane threads man.

The socks took a bit, I had to improvise a "threads texture" using a chain link brush back and forth, apply to the legs to "shape it" and then paint over to give volume and texture. But it worked at the end
