First of four commissions for ~Tsunderelightning This one is of his character Parvati.-----
Description from the Commissioner
Parvati Heliana is a priestess of the Sun Goddess, who she's named for - as is customary for orphans taken in by the various ashrams in the Sun-Blessed Ranate in the southeastern jungles. She's what this setting has for mermaids - sometimes also called the naga; an amphibous species. She specializes in the healing touch and very a very physical school of Ranate clerical healing magic depending on dance and gesture. Generally, she's quite soft-spoken and cheerful, almost stoic.

Those scales took forever....but totally worth it.

those scales look like they took forever holy wow I would have DIED!!! but her hands, clothing and body all look fantastic well worth the time spent on it!

hehe, yeah, I think it took like 4 hours to do the lines for the scales, about 1 hour to put the base colors in on just the lower body alone, and then another 1.5 hours or so putting in the little bits of light dots to give the scales detail. Overall totally worth the effort, even if my arm is killing me xD
