I recently figured I'd have my own go at making up my own personal design for the Riddler, in the case of 'The New Batman Adventures' (TNBA, for short). Now, don't get me wrong! I'm okay with how his revamped design looked in The Animated Series (TAS, for short). But still, there wasn't much style going on with the costume. Just a full body green leotard with a big question mark on it. Plus, it bothers me a little that he wears no mask AND is also completely bald. Again, don't get me wrong! I'm totally okay with bald people, including iconic characters such as Captain Picard and Professor X. But, in the case of the Riddler, I personally find it to be a little silly. I mean, come on, the fancy looking orange-ish brown hair was perfectly fine the way it was! So, here, I've sort-of combined the two designs a little, especially giving him back the fancy mask and hair, but also keeping the same type of purple that was used for TNBA Riddler, including that pretty neat looking question mark cane (y'know, just to differentiate from the previous design, because it practically screams "Riddler" a little more). Essentially, this is more of a what-if design on my part. Let's face it, though, I'm obviously not the only one who's done this. Oh well, this is my own personal take anyway. Oh, and if I had my way, I'd make him more than just a background character in The New Batman Adventures! Just saying.
