I just had to submit it here first. I want to show mom SOOO badly but I know I should wait till V-day...

Anyways, my V-day present for my mother. She's been on the tough journey towards bariatric surgery for a few months or so. Her motto is "When all this is through, I'll look as good as Jessica Rabbit" Jessica is also her favourite character.

So, I decided to try my hand at making a representation of my mother as Jessica. I tried REALLY HARD DAMNIT.
I LOVE how the dress came out. It looks great without the outline too, so I might submit a cropped pic of what it looks like without it.
Decided to cut out the bg cause A: she's supposed to be the main focus and B: after three attempts at drawing a crappy piano I gave up XD Didn't want to butcher the image. So I grabbed a stock fabric image and stuck it behind Jessica after a bit of tweaking.

and I know my hands suck!! >.< I'm still working on it! those buggers are really hard to draw!

PLEASE no stealing, and COMMENT WHEN YOU FAVORITE PLEASE! my last submission has had like 14 faves and NO comments. which sucks.

My mother is also currently operating a Vlog on youtube of her Journey. I'd appreciate it and I'm sure she would if you headed over to her channel, watched a few videos, and gave her some encouragement on her long journey! ^^
