Description
Or I guess more of a character reference since there's only one picture? Anyways...Pin is the resident anomaly of the fictional small tourist town of Glade Park, Colorado. He is the only known robot in the world to have true sentience programmed into his AI, however this hasn't made breaking news considering that rarely anyone has attempted to report it, and those who have tried were shut down from the idea being too ludicrous to believe. Nobody knows where his AI chip originated from, as there is no signature or imprint with a lead to his creator. However, he does have mysterious memory files in his code that are locked by a password that he cannot access himself, and it's believed to have a clue to who his creator was. His chip was found for sale at a junkyard before being bought by Copper Clemons and put into a test-model body. After realizing that he was no ordinary machine, Copper ended up adopting him as her son.
Since then, Pin has become quite the sweetie pie. He has a very open heart, willing to help anyone that is in need of it, and is very adaptable to the situations he's placed in. However, he is ridiculously naive, and it's easy for others to take advantage of him while he remains oblivious. But in the rare moments when he realizes he's being treated unfairly, he may get angry and yell, but he will never resort to violence.
Pin's closest friend is a 10 year old girl named Agil Anzlovar, whom he met only hours after being activated. His strong relation with her is one of his main motivations for fitting in among human society.
EDIT: Oh my fucking god I just realized his initials are a pun. His initials are PC. Like a computer. Because he's a robot. JFC.

Well⦠maybe. Some robots do have something similar to nerves installed into their bodies so that they can feel things, but Pin doesn't even have a mouth to begin with.

True, so that means he can't eat anything... but how can one live life without knowing the godly taste of peanut butter pretzels?

I have no idea, and that's why he secretly dreams of inventing flavored electricity so that he can experience something like eating.

Which is why I don't think I'll be in english honors junior year. I've already barely passed my last few english classes with a C and I think my sophomore english teacher secretly hated me because of my lousy work ethic...
π: 0 β©: 1
SigmaAlphaThree In reply to Kufguh [2016-07-23 10:09:34 +0000 UTC]
Well, you can always take AP English Language! If you're not able to go into the honors program. That class is actually really fun. But unless you have to be in honors to go to AP...
π: 0 β©: 1
Kufguh In reply to SigmaAlphaThree [2016-07-23 15:33:40 +0000 UTC]
WHAT?! That's even higher than the honors program! How the heck am I supposed to get into that if I can't do honors?
π: 0 β©: 1
SigmaAlphaThree In reply to Kufguh [2016-07-23 15:55:40 +0000 UTC]
Honors is higher than AP? Well, I've been in them both but I can say AP is definitely a different style of teaching that's easier. It's mostly learning how to write essays on the fly and standard SAT questions based on passages.

Kufguh In reply to SigmaAlphaThree [2016-07-23 16:40:14 +0000 UTC]
No, honors is lower than AP in my school. AP is ridiculously hard here most of the time, and I've only made it through most AP classes with a C or lowerβ¦
π: 0 β©: 1
SigmaAlphaThree In reply to Kufguh [2016-07-24 00:12:11 +0000 UTC]
Really? Oh, AP is above honors English here but any other time you just take APs and sign up. I don't know, the classes sound hard but you did well on the actual exam.
π: 0 β©: 1
Kufguh In reply to SigmaAlphaThree [2016-07-24 01:27:22 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, but that was like one exam for one class. I bet it would be a much different case for any other AP exams, especially considering that I never got to take my second one because I failed the class too hard before the second semester even started.

I think it just depends on the class you take. Maybe Gov just wasn't your thing, but obviously you liked Human Geo.

It's weird, trust me. We only get to choose our own electives while whoever is behind the schedules does everything else for us...

SigmaAlphaThree In reply to Kufguh [2016-07-25 00:39:13 +0000 UTC]
But what if you want all APs? Or APs for half of the classes? Do you get to appeal the choices?

Kufguh In reply to SigmaAlphaThree [2016-07-25 04:10:45 +0000 UTC]

THE KIDS AT MY SCHOOL DO.
Some kid has 7 classes and they're all APs. The most I've ever done is 3 in one year tho

π: 0 β©: 1
SigmaAlphaThree In reply to Kufguh [2016-07-25 16:31:51 +0000 UTC]
Probably. They do that senior year too. A lot of these kids are Asian and trying to get into good schools so they have to go through hoops because apparently there's a bias against Asian students in elite colleges, so they have to be freaking extraordinary to get in. So a bunch of APs, clubs, etc. meanwhile I'm a noot and I'm only gonna take 6 in my entire high school career...
π: 0 β©: 1
Kufguh In reply to SigmaAlphaThree [2016-07-25 19:43:03 +0000 UTC]
Really? Bias as in they already have too many Asian students or they just don't want Asians because they're Asian? But what does noot mean?
π: 0 β©: 1
SigmaAlphaThree In reply to Kufguh [2016-07-25 19:49:29 +0000 UTC]
I think it's a little bit of both. I meant noot like I'm kind of lame compared to everyone else's AP numbers.
π: 0 β©: 1
Kufguh In reply to SigmaAlphaThree [2016-07-26 05:21:39 +0000 UTC]
Oh... that is really weird then. I understand wanting diversity, but at the same time giving them a hard time for just being asian is dickish. And don't worry, I'm an extreme noot because I've only ever had two AP's and failed one of them.
π: 0 β©: 1
SigmaAlphaThree In reply to Kufguh [2016-07-26 10:08:32 +0000 UTC]
Yeah... I'm not sure why, they don't seem to want any Asian kids. Like Harvard for example, apparently they're getting sued for that same reason because under qualified kids are getting in based on their race. But hey, 2 before junior year is great. It shows you want to challenge yourself. I was lame and only got them in junior year because I realized time was running out.
π: 0 β©: 1
Kufguh In reply to SigmaAlphaThree [2016-07-27 04:24:47 +0000 UTC]
Oh, I thought that's always been happening in all colleges, where some people just get in because they're a certain race or gender and happened to meet the minimum criteria. That's just racist as heck. But really? Then again, you didn't even have the chance to take AP classes when you were a freshmen, meanwhile over here it's a different story.
π: 0 β©: 1
SigmaAlphaThree In reply to Kufguh [2016-07-27 09:52:12 +0000 UTC]
In most, but they're trying to stop that because it's discrimination. So now they have no race criteria. Yeah, none freshman year but usually people take one or two in sophomore year and I didn't.
π: 0 β©: 1
Kufguh In reply to SigmaAlphaThree [2016-07-27 20:56:24 +0000 UTC]
Well, at least an effort is being made to stop it, which is kind of nice. But don't worry about it, at least you're starting on your AP's now, right? I just hope the stress doesn't break you.
π: 0 β©: 1
SigmaAlphaThree In reply to Kufguh [2016-07-27 21:28:36 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, but at the same time... it's tough because em the people who want to good schools can't and diversity is important. Yeah, I'm taking them now. The stress killed me at first but I've learned to manage.
