... XD ~ruaki wanted some Kingdom Hearts RikuSora goodness, so I went about to give her some. Sorry, Roo-sama! I'm sure this is'n't exactly what you had in mind, but hey, I tossed in symbolism! That counts for something, right? XDI also apologize to my stalkers - I have'n't uploaded much lately. Been too exhausted to do much but sleep.
*laughs and runs off, before getting stabbed and/or shot*
EDIT: Oh yea, I forgot to mention. Those are real translations of their names up there. Sora = sky, Riku = land, and Kairi = division.
EDIT #2: Geezus H., people. Stop trying to "educate" me by proclaiming you know the "correct" translation of Kairi's name. Go look up "pun" in the English dictionary. Given I've studied Japanese since 1996, I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT.
Simple, quickie doodle, done in OpenCanvas 1.1 in the span of about two hours, I guess.

OKay, I understand that most people don't like Kairi because she's pretty much a cockblock, but I honestly like her. c: She may not be the strongest, or the coolest, or the bestest, but she's becoming those in her own ways, and I love her for that. I hope she gets her chance to show what she's really got in KH3 and kick some major bad guy ass cx (alsoihopeventuswakesuptoomypoorbaby)

Actually, Kingdom Hearts Kairi is written with the kanji for sea. But it has a lot of homophones, so I can see why you thought division. (Actually, this could be considered a pun.)

My goodness. People, Kairi has several meanings... however, "Kairi" most commonly refferred to as "horizon" and therefore, a division of sky and sea. That's why people are becoming confused. Just remember that Wikipedia can't entirely be trusted because anyone can put anything they like on the pages. I'm in no way yelling at anyone, but the artist is correct in her use of Kairi's name.

mmmhmm. kairi, like most japanese names, depends on its spelling for its meaning. it can mean "horizon" or "sea". its more a word used for imagery then anything, if i remember my (very breif) japanese lessons correctly.
