Guess who got bitten by the IdolM@ster bug?
I thought their costumes were way too cute not to draw, and this was the outcome! I'd like to wish all a Happy Chinese New Year for the year of the dragon!

This is the first piece I worked on in Paint Tool SAI (for colouring), lineart and final adjustments in Photoshop.

OMWORD idolMaster Heroines in Chinese Fantasy garb! (Especially awesome is how you blended both European (off-shoulder nature, the half-collar, & slight strips of ribbed/ruffled sections) and Asian elements (Overall smooth texture and flowing elegance, with hints of intricate gold ornaments) together here, simply awesome work! 
Ddaaaaawwww this is a great take on starting ๆฅ็ฏ/ๆญฃๆ (Lunar New Year), with an amazing styling & design. These dresses will be awesome if made in real life.. Anyways, ้ๅธธๆ่ฌ (Thank You Very Much) for this!

Great work here. Perhaps switching Ami's and Iroi's positions would have been better, since Iori is the frontman of Ryuugu Komachi- but that's a minor quip.

I understand what you mean by switching their positions. But for this particular composition, I felt Iori would get a greater focus (where I placed her now).

Heh. Well, whaddya know- I was thinking about making an Idolmaster picture sometime- starting off with Project Fairy (I envisioned them with their signature "Overmaster" outfits, though).

You definitely should! I was completely surprised by how much I liked it by the end of the series. I only knew it as a really successful otaku-bait video game, but it turned out to be so much more.
